Pearl set

This set of South Sea pearls is one of the four largest and most beautiful of its kind in the world. We succeeded in acquiring these truly magnificent pearls thanks to Beyer’s excellent contacts. The pearls are remarkable in every way: It took 12 years to gather and match all 23 pearls for the necklace and the three single pearls for the ring and earrings. All the pearls are untreated and are in their absolutely natural state, both as regards colour/lustre and surface quality. X-ray images show that the pearls have an extremely thick nacre layer, which gives them their magnificent lustre. The size of the pearls, which measure between 16 and 21 mm, is the maximum that nature can create.
