The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Vintage jewellery

In October 2016, we opened a department especially for vintage jewellery. Art historian Dörte Herold acquires such items for Beyer from private persons and dealers, as well as at auctions all over the world. As a result, we already have a collection of many rare pieces that were made between 1800 and 1980 – including treasures from Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Suzanne Belperron, René Boivin, Graff and van Cleef & Arpels. Most of the pieces of jewellery are signed, numbered and certified – and often set with exquisite gemstones and pearls. If necessary, our goldsmiths restore the pieces before they are offered for sale.

These individual pieces of jewellery show that they are more than simply a passing fashion. They have stood the test of time and speak a language that will also be understood tomorrow. The future is ruled by the past. Our vintage jewellery department rounds off the wide portfolio of services offered by Beyer.
