Heavy, square and curved case in 18 carat gold, reference 3834. Marked on the back: Patek, Philippe, Geneve, No. 2837271 as weil as an oval-shaped stamp PPCo. Gold crown with Calatrava cross, crocodile bracelet with original buckle. Ivory-coloured silver dial with applied and diamond cut, gold indices and a small seconds dial at 8 o'clock. Marked on the dial: Patek Philippe, Geneve, Tourbillon 866500. Three gold hands. Rhodium-plated, "Tonneau" shaped movement, calibre 34 T with 57 hours power reserve. The tourbillon by Andre Bornand is a beryllium-bronze. Guillaume balance, free sprung balance-spring with Phillips-curve. Lever escapement. Signed on the bridge: Patek Philippe, Geneve, No. 866500.

The movement was especially manufactured in 1956 for the precision contests at the Geneva observatory and was entered in the category wrist watches with a diameter of 30 mm or a surface of 706,86 square mm. In 1981, these movements were plated with rhodium and equipped with dials and gold cases.
