Silver Pocket Watch with Minute-Tourbillon

Smooth silver case with gold hinges. At one o'clock, push button to set hands in gold socket. A glass dust cover protects the movement. Silvered dial with inlaid gilt indices as numerals. Above auxiliary dial to indicate 36 hours power reserve, below small seconds dial. The seconds hand is set on the pivot of the tour billon.
The nickel silver movement is set in motion by two sequential barrels. Closed three quarter base in the Glashütter style with Geneva stripes. Signed on the base: Hans Apel, Glashütte Sa. 1926. Visible differential gear to indicate the power reserve. Minutes wheel bearing set in polished iron plaques. Flying tourbillon in polished steel. Large balance with regulating gold screws. Blued steel balance-spring with Breguet overcoil. Spring detent escapement, the steel escape wheel in gold setting.
The flying tour billon was made for the first time by Hans Apel and was built as a masterpiece at the German Watchmaking School in Glashütte.
