The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Successful Clock & Watch Museum

11,222 people visited our Clock & Watch Museum in 2017: an impressive number and an increase of 10% compared to the previous year. 77 percent are visitors from abroad; the Beyer Clock & Watch Museum is more widely known among tourists than the local residents. Zürich Card holders gain free admission to the museum. More than half of our Swiss guests visit the museum as part of a group, mostly guided tours organised by companies, societies or clubs. The visit to the museum is often followed by a drinks reception at the museum or an evening meal in the city. We also offer guided tours for the watchmakers of tomorrow: 228 children visited our Clock and Watch Museum with their school class.

The Beyer Clock & Watch Museum is accessed through our shop. The collection is one of the most important in the world and recounts the entire history of timekeeping from 1400 BC to the present day. The exhibition is open from Monday to Friday, 2.00 to 6.00 pm.
