CHRONOGRAPH WITH TACHYMETER DISPLAY SIGNED “BEYER” IN A LIMITED EDITION OF 50 PIECES, PATEK PHILIPE, GENEVA 2010
The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.
Every year, the collection at the Beyer Clock and Watch Museum is augmented by additional masterpieces in an endeavour to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of time measurement, in terms of both technology and design.
The exhibition is further enriched and rounded off with appropriate - and in some cases until then lacking - objects. Interesting timepieces from former eras, as well as up-to-date watches from recent years, are regularly acquired.
