The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Exhibition in the Museum: Precious time

06/10/2016

From 13 June until 23 September, the Beyer Clock and Watch Museum is showing a special exhibition featuring Maren Ruben and Ingrid Rodewald from Strasbourg.

Time as a precious commodity forms the basis and focal theme of the artists’ creative research and works. Embedded in artistic landscapes and visual fragments, clocks and watches from the Museum’s collection each tell their story as invaluable witnesses of the times and present themselves as depictions of different eras.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 2.00 to 6.00 pm.
