Accompanied by a select group of A. Lange und Söhne watch enthusiasts, we went on an extremely interesting trip to Dresden beginning of July 2011. Besides paying a visit to the manufacture, we also enjoyed numerous culinary and cultural highlights.
 
Dresden is well worth a visit for its own sake. Therefore, sufficient time was reserved for exploring this beautiful city. We dined in the best restaurants, including the one in Eckberg Castle, from where we were treated to a magnificent view over the River Elbe.
 
On the second day, our journey continued to Glashütte, where we were taken on a guided tour through the manufacture of A. Lange und Söhne. The participants had particularly been looking forward to this visit, and their expectations were more than fulfilled. They were given an insight into the many different departments, and were impressed by the complexity and top quality of the various work processes.
