The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Visit to Breitling

09/04/2015

It is a fascinating experience for watch lovers to take a look behind the scenes to see how a watch is made. Accompanied by a small group, we travelled to the watchmaking region of La Chaux-de-Fonds, where we paid a visit to the Breitling manufactory. In the morning, we were given a deeper insight into the production of these highly precise timepieces. Breitling is the only brand that has all its watches certified by the COSC and only sells chronometer-certified movements.

After an intensive morning, we fortified ourselves with a delicious lunch at a guesthouse in the region. The afternoon was devoted to aviation, a major topic at Breitling. All our guests were treated to a short helicopter flight in beautiful weather.
