The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Visit to the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufactory

08/26/2014

Thanks to the fantastic catering, the food served during the coach journey surpassed that of many an airline.

However, it was naturally not just the culinary delights that attracted this group to the Vallée de Joux, but the prospect of taking a look around a very special manufacture. At the end of May 2013, the famous Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture opened its hallowed halls especially for Beyer customers, which proved to be a fascinating experience in every regard. The members of the party had the opportunity to look over the watchmakers’ shoulders, as well as go on a guided tour of the Atmos Atelier and the Heritage Gallery, all of which resulted in a highly enjoyable and fascinating day.

The history of the watch manufacture, Jaeger-LeCoultre, started 180 years ago in Le Sentier, in the sleepy Vallée de Joux. Since then, numerous inventions and innovations have made the company renowned over the world.
