Historical Breguet clocks
From 22 November until 19 December 2004, the largest Breguet exhibition ever was held in Switzerland and on show at Beyer’s clock and watch museum. This unique exhibition united under one roof 143 outstanding and rare masterpieces, which will never be seen again in this compilation. The objects hailed from the collections of Breguet, the Musée international d’horlogerie, the Swiss National Museum and the Clock and Watch Museum Beyer Zürich. Most of the exhibits on display date back to the time of the founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823), who gave the brand its name. He was a consummate master of the art of watchmaking, and thanks to him, the name of Breguet has established itself as an absolute reference in the sphere of horological craftsmanship. It gives us great pleasure to present this significant collection to mark the 20th anniversary of the successful partnership between Beyer and Breguet.
