IWC course on watchmaking
On 9 and 10 September, a group of customers attended a highly interesting course on watchmaking, followed by a seven-course dinner held in a museum.
Guided by a team of IWC master watchmakers, they delved into the intricate technology of haute horlogerie. The Park Hotel Waldhaus in Flims provided a fitting setting for this very special event, and the museum dinner offered an added treat. The evening commenced with aperitifs, followed by the watchmaking course. The aim was for guests to assemble a watch by themselves within the space of 1½ hours. A master watchmaker demonstrated the procedure step by step on a large-sized screen. After this task had been accomplished, the hungry participants were able to pacify their rumbling stomachs with a delicious seven-course menu, whereby each course was served in a different room. On Sunday, the guests were able to relax in the hotel’s extensive spa facilities. And thus all too quickly this fascinating weekend came to an end.
