Visit to the Piaget manufactory

In May 2008, together with a small group of like-minded clock and watch enthusiasts, we had the opportunity to visit the Piaget manufacture. We were given an insight into the production of watches and jewellery in both Côte-aux-Fées and Geneva, and discovered just how many pieces are necessary to create these objects. During our tour, it became clear that the manufacture of such exclusive objects is not just very time-consuming, but also requires a great deal of intuition.

We enjoyed a warm, personal welcome by Piaget and our taste buds were truly pampered with excellent food. Furthermore, we were able to spend the night at one of the region’s most beautiful hotels. We all agreed that the entire programme was a resounding success.
