White Christmas Ball

The White Christmas Ball was held for the third time on Saturday, 28 November 2009. Around 180 illustrious guests enjoyed this charity event organised by the White Christmas Society.

The organisation committee comprised Dr. Daniel Oriesek, Dr. Stephan Rietiker, Dr. Andrej Radovic, Jörg Bär, Oliver Müller and Katja Weber. Once again, the team did a fantastic job, for a convivial ambience prevailed throughout the evening and a total of CHF 80,000 was raised for the LPlus Foundation. The LPlus project, which stems from a scheme by the Unternehmergruppe Wettbewerbsfähigkeit (UGW), a competitiveness entrepreneurial group founded in 2005, is aimed at combating youth unemployment in Switzerland by means of voluntary initiative on the part of enterprises, including the creation of additional apprenticeship positions.
