Diamond Seminar
Diamond Seminar
On Saturday, 22 November 2008, our second Diamond Seminar was held in collaboration with the “Weltwoche” newspaper. Carlo Mutschler, head of Beyer’s goldsmith’s atelier, introduced the 30 participants to the exciting world of diamonds. Did you know, for example, that it takes no fewer than 250 tonnes of rock to produce a one-carat diamond? Mutschler succeeded in conveying to those present his enthusiasm for the hardest material in the world, and explained step by step how and according to which criteria the quality of a stone is assessed.
After attending this course, participants are in a position to interpret quality certificates and thus gain an accurate picture of a particular diamond. Have we aroused your interest? Further courses are planned. Contact us and reserve a place now.
