Intercultural training for our sales staff
Over half of our clients come from abroad. Consequently, being acquainted with the practices and customs in the various countries is of great importance. Behaviour that in one country is considered to be polite can in another be interpreted in a negative way. Therefore, our sales staff attended an intercultural training course run by experts, who passed on their knowledge about various countries. First, the focus was placed on Switzerland, followed by China, India, Russia and the Arabian nations.
What is the economic, political and social situation in these countries and what is the correct way to conduct a conversation? Many interesting topics were discussed in an interactive way and experiences were exchanged. During the two-day course, our sales staff received many useful tips for their everyday dealings with our international clientele.
