Review and Outlook
Beyer Chronometrie AG closed the 2015 business year with a gratifying volume of sales, which was only marginally less than the figure for the previous year. Our Swiss clients once again increased their share of the overall turnover and are our most important purchasers by far, followed by the Chinese. To them we say a big Thank You, and express our gratitude by inviting select groups of clients to interesting manufactory tours and exclusive events – such as our legendary concert that we will be co-hosting with Patek Philippe in the autumn.
So how do things look for 2016? The prevailing mood is restrained; the world is currently in the grip of numerous crises. Terrorism is gnawing at people’s desire to travel and the world economy is in bad shape. And yet a crisis does not have to be cause for despair. Often it signals the turning point for a precarious situation – from then on, things can only get better. We believe in positive thinking and intend to seize every opportunity that arises.
