The Beyer Watch

The design of this watch emulates the giant timepiece that hangs outside the Beyer shop. It has served as a trademark for decades, and can be seen from a long way off on the Bahnhofstrasse.

Rebirth of an icon: the new Polaris watch features the special alarm function made famous by the Memovox Polaris from 1968. This timepiece was launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the original model and has an iconic three-crown design: one for setting the alarm (top), one for the inner rotating bezel (middle) and one for adjusting the time (bottom). The manufacture movement has a striking mechanism with a gong, along with a central seconds and instant-jump date-change system. The vintage cues on the dial also call to mind the 1968 original. The luminous coating on the hands and indices is vanilla-coloured.
