The company was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard and sold to the Scheufele family in 1963. Thus two companies were united that both had a profound expertise in the manufacture of watches and jewellery.

The company`s masterpieces are distinguished by their innovative design, state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship. Many of the creations emanate a playful elegance. With its own L.U.C. works, the firm has returned to its roots in traditional manufacture.
