“GREAT ART ON SMALL WATCHES”
This exhibition presents miniature painting on enamel, a masterful technique that requires patience and precision. It displays intimate portraits, religious scenes, mythological representations, and allegories rendered in fine brushstrokes. Selected works from the Beyer Clock and Watch Museum collection, dating from the 17th to the 20th century, show how subjects from large-format paintings and prints were artfully reduced in size. The exhibition highlights the connection between art, craftsmanship, and time, inviting visitors to explore this fascinating art form.
