Why we have our own watch brand? Because we want to offer the best brands, but also the best alternative.
Beyer watches are made in Saignelégier in the Jura region, where the Bolzli family runs the Aerowatch company. René Beyer is a patron of the company and acts in an advisory capacity. In return, Aerowatch manufactures Beyer watches at an unbeatably fair price. “A good quality model starts at 200 francs,” says René Beyer proudly. It is important to him that his company can offer not only the most coveted brands in the world, but also a genuine alternative for limited budgets. “But that does not mean that I’m compromising on quality in the slightest,” the patron stresses.
Beyer watches with moon phase indication are in extremely high demand at the moment. After decades more or less in hibernation, the rotating disc decorated with moon and stars is the most popular complication (after date and chronograph functions). Mar Fuentes, who is responsible for the own-brand range at Beyer, describes her three moon-phase favourites in the following words:
