Fluid Boundaries

Following the success of the Ornamenta collection, Beyer is expanding the range.

After last year’s launch of Ornamenta, the spectacular high-jewellery collection, Beyer is starting a new chapter with Ornamentina: the complementary line kicks off with a ring with a mandarin garnet in the centre.

As its little sister, the Ornamentina collection adopts the language of Ornamenta, but is based on a modular principle. It makes individualisation possible without any loss of exclusivity. Customers can choose between settings, ring shanks and gemstones, making each piece of jewellery unique in its personal expression. “It is precisely this dialogue that is the strength of this concept,” says atelier director Željko Gregurek. “With such exquisite design, Ornamentina opens a door on the world of Beyer jewellery art.” For example, the daughter might start out with Ornamentina, while the mother wears Ornamenta for a special occasion: two lines that are not in competition, but form a family.

As an introduction, Beyer presents a ring that showcases a mandarin garnet in a sugarloaf cut to great effect. The item of rose gold jewellery will be followed by a series of rings, earrings and pendants in which the special cut is playfully combined with opaque and translucent gemstones. The boundary between the two collections remains deliberately fluid
