Further information | Garrard was founded in London in 1735 by silversmith George Wicks and was a pioneer of the modern jewellery concept. Since being appointed the first official Crown Jeweller in 1843, they have had the privilege of creating many fantastic pieces of jewellery for the British royal family. For example, Princess Diana's engagement ring and the setting of the world-famous Cullinan diamonds into various pieces of the Crown Jewels. The house still carries the name to this day, combining traditional jewellery making techniques with cutting-edge technology and innovation, continuing the legacy of fine craftsmanship that has always distinguished Garrard from other jewellers. |
