Züri Leu – The lion edition by Beyer

    Strong, majestic and unmistakable: the lion has been the heraldic animal of the city of Zurich for centuries. As a reminiscence of this powerful symbol, the Beyer jewellery studio has created a limited edition of lion brooches. Each brooch measures around five centimetres in height and four centimetres in width – and bears the unmistakable Beyer signature: a sparkling brilliant-cut diamond and a deep blue sapphire.

    The lion brooches are not only an expression of supreme goldsmithing skill, but also coveted collector's items. Every year, a new, exclusive piece of jewellery with a lion motif is added to the collection. The result is a series that constantly reinterprets the power, diversity and symbolism of the Zurich lion.

    Custom design, timeless effect

    The collection already includes several lion brooches, designed by our goldsmiths in different styles. Each piece is unique, crowned by tiaras in various shapes, gemstone types and colours. In addition to brooches, we also create cufflinks and pins that express the lion symbol in an elegant yet modern way.
