Breitling has announced the release of the Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition wristwatch to commemorate its partnership with Bentley and to celebrate the car manufacturer’s 100 years of luxury motoring excellence.  Particularly eye-catching is the elegant, unique, brown elm burl dial with black subdials. These contrasting subdials indicate that the watches are powered by Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Calibre 01. The in-house mechanical movement delivers an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement is visible through a unique transparent case back featuring a Bentley logo. The pattern and stitching of the brown leather strap were inspired by the seats in a Bentley car.

Three new Breitling Aviator 8 Curtiss Warhawk watches pay homage to the renowned US aircraft manufacturer, Curtiss Wright, and its most famous aircraft, the Curtiss P40 Warhawk, which was built between 1938 and 1944. The B01 Chronograph variant is powered by an in-house mechanical movement and has a bidirectional bezel. Its striking transparent sapphire case back is enhanced with a Curtiss inscription and an image of an airborne P-40 Warhawk.

Breitling played an important role in the golden age of aviation, helping crews to track the full range of navigational calculations. The brand has now created a capsule collection of Navitimer 1 Airline Editions that commemorate the most emblematic airlines of that time. Appropriately, the collection is being launched with the Swissair Edition, which will be followed by timepieces celebrating other significant airlines from this very special era. The Airline Edition watches are powered by the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01. The in-house mechanical chronograph movement is regarded as one of the finest in the world and delivers both remarkable precision and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

In 1952, Breitling developed the Navitimer, a revolutionary wrist-worn chronograph that instantly became the mainstay of every cockpit. It was worn by pilots during some of aviation’s most impressive achievements, as an innovative slide rule enabled them to make all the critical flight calculations. The Re-Edition replicates – almost down to the smallest detail – the design codes of one of the most venerated early Navitimer watches. A little-known fact is that the unsigned winged logo was used for the European market, while the watches sold in the US bore an AOPA-signed logo.

Breitling and Norton Motorcycles share a strong heritage. Both were founded in the 19th century by visionaries who not only gave their names to their companies, but also largely defined their industries.
The Breitling Premier Norton Edition reflects the cultures and values of these two great brands and is characterised by its bold design and urban-chic style. In addition, both brands have been featured in James Bond films – 007 wore a Breitling Top Time in “Thunderball” (1965), while a Norton Dominator SS played a supporting role in “Spectre” (2015).
