Beyer and Breguet.

Abraham-Louis Breguet is considered to be the Leonardo da Vinci of watchmaking. One of his most famous movements is displayed in the Swiss National Museum – thanks to the Beyer family, which nearly became the owner of the Breguet manufacture. The Beyer Clock and Watch Museum also houses 10 original Breguet timepieces – when they’re not on loan for display elsewhere. The partnership began in 1984.

Breguet

A part of Switzerland’s cultural legacy

The name Breguet is part of Switzerland’s cultural legacy. Abraham-Louis Breguet, from the canton of Neuchâtel, is considered one of the greatest watchmakers of all time. He invented the tourbillon in 1795. He improved the automatic movement in 1780 and since then has been called the father of modern-day watchmaking. Breguet is now one of the few manufacturers to produce all of the parts of its watches itself.

Tradition

The timepieces in the Tradition collection are a tribute to the legendary subscription watches designed by Abraham-Louis Breguet, suggesting both a return to the brand’s origins and a vision of its future.

Classique

Classique watches exemplify the watchmaking ideals of clarity, precision and a minimalist aesthetic. Whether it’s extra-thin models or complications, they all accurately reflect the technical principles, the watchmaking artistry and the traditional values of the Breguet brand.

Grandes complications

The art of the superlative: the Breguet grandes complications are a prime example of the centuries-long combination of unforgettable watchmaking artistry and technical perfection. This area of watchmaking continues to present a challenge to watchmakers to this day.

Marine

The Marine line is based on traditional Breguet values, yet interpreting them in a contemporary way to create sporty timepieces.

Héritage

Whether round or as a form watch – a Breguet is recognised at first sight. With their curved tonneau case, the Héritage models are the best evidence of this.

Type XX

Designed in the 1950s for the French naval air force, the Type XX returns to the Breguet collection in a civilian version fitted with a mechanical automatic movement.

Reine de Naples

The Reine de Naples line was created on the basis of the very first wristwatch that Abraham-Louis Breguet created for Napoleon’s sister, Caroline Murat.

Haute joaillerie

Lends a lady dignity and a sense of refinement. Highlights her sensitivity. Underscores her elegance.
