As long as
time exists.
Beyer Watches & Jewellery on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich was founded in 1760, making it the oldest watch shop in the world. In 1996, René Beyer and Muriel Zahn-Beyer took over the management of the business – the eighth generation of the family to do so. From 2003 to 2024, René Beyer was solely responsible for running the company. In 2024, he passed management of the business to his sister Muriel Zahn-Beyer to ensure a smooth transition and the continuation of the family legacy. After the death of René Beyer in 2025, Muriel Zahn-Beyer took on sole leadership with pride and a deep sense of respect for tradition, drawing on more than 265 years of experience in watchmaking.
