Pre-loved watches
Pre-loved or certified pre-owned luxury watches are high-quality timepieces that have had one or more previous owners and are being resold. They usually come from renowned brands and are carefully checked, serviced and authenticated before being resold. Pre-owned luxury watches combine excellent quality, timeless design and craftsmanship with an often more attractive price – giving special watches with history a second life.
By specialising in antique and vintage watches, we were ahead of the current vintage trend in 1940. Today we carry rare automatic watches, manually wound watches and quartz watches – many with an extract from the manufacturer’s index confirming their authenticity. We would be happy to show you our collection or go on a treasure hunt for you if you have your heart set on something specific.

Ms. Herold is Head of the Beyer Vintage Department. Since 2016, the art historian has been enhancing the Beyer team with her many years of experience and expertise. Around the globe, she acquires vintage watches, also known as certified pre-owned watches, from private individuals, dealers and at auctions for Beyer.
Ms Herold is available from Monday to Friday.

Pre-Loved seminar
Experience history up close and personal: come along with us and discover the fascinating world of venerable timepieces and jewellery.<br/> After the seminar, you will be able to assign pieces to the correct era and evaluate what you have in front of you. You will also learn how to distinguish quality pieces from reproductions. This event is free of charge for Beyer customers; external guests pay CHF 60. After a two-hour seminar, we offer participants a glass of champagne. In addition, we hold a drawing for a book about watches and a book about gemstones.
