Patek Philippe novelties 2024

The "Watches & Wonders" Geneva takes place from 09.04-15.04.2024. We give you an overview of the exciting new products from our brand partners.

Patek Philippe is innovating in technical terms by endowing its regular collection with the first World Time watch to feature a date display synchronized with local time. On the occasion of the Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 Salon, Patek Philippe unveils unique new alliances of technical prowess and style.

Launched as a limited edition at the Patek Philippe grand exhibition “Watch Art” held in Tokyo in June 2023, Reference 5330 enters the manufacture’s regular collection. It is distinguished by a patented world first: a date display synchronized with local time; that is, the time in the time zone selected at the 12 o’clock position on the city disk and indicated by the center hands. To make the user experience as practical and comfortable as possible, Patek Philippe tasked its engineers with coupling the date display mechanically with the local time with no need for correction. Meeting this challenge required that the date adjust automatically in the two situations entailing a change: past midnight, when the date advances to that of the following day; and when crossing the International Date Line (in the middle of the Pacific Ocean) from west to east, where the date goes back by a day.

The quintessential travel watch, Alarm Travel Time Reference 5520 comes in a new two-tone version with a rose gold case featuring four white gold pusher tubes and a sunburst gray dial.

This Grand Complication equipped with self-winding AL 30-660 S C FUS caliber protected by four patents combines the exclusive Travel Time dual-time display (with date indexed to local time) with a 24-hour alarm mechanism featuring a hammer striking a classic gong.

The two Travel Time pushers and the 2 o'clock pusher used to activate/deactivate the alarm are fitted with a patented safety locking mechanism.

The Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Rare Handcrafts Reference 5160/500 is reinterpreted in a new rose gold version with a silvery opaline dial.

The dial center, bezel, case middle, crown, hinged cover and lugs, as well as the fold-over clasp and strap screws are adorned with richly hand-engraved decoration composed of volutes and foliage inspired by a pocket watch from the Patek Philippe Museum.

Self-winding 26-330 S QR caliber drives displays of day, leap-year cycle and month through apertures at 9, 12 and 3 o'clock. The date is indicated by a retrograde hand sweeping over an arc between 8 and 4 o'clock.

The Officer’s-style case features a sapphire crystal case-back protected by a hinged cover.

Patek Philippe revisits the in-line perpetual calendar Reference 5236P with a vintage-inspired opaline rose-gilt dial enhanced by charcoal gray white gold hands and applied hour-markers.

Ultra-thin self-winding 31-260 PS QL caliber featuring a triple-patented additional module displays the day, date and month through a large single 12 o’clock aperture, complemented by two round apertures for the leap-year cycle and day/night indication and a moon-phase display.

The elegant entirely hand-polished platinum case is set with a diamond at 6 o'clock.

Patek Philippe reinterprets its famous men’s Annual Calendar Reference 5396 in a new white gold version featuring a sunburst blue dial with black-gradient rim, discreetly enhanced by the brilliance of twelve baguette diamond hour-markers (0.26 ct). The dial color is echoed by a shiny navy-blue alligator leather strap.

With its double day/month aperture at 12 o'clock, date aperture at 6 o'clock and 24-hour subdial with integrated moon-phase display, self-winding 26-330 S QA LU 24H caliber indicates the date for 30- and 31-day months and requires only one manual adjustment per year at the end of February.

5980/60G - NAUTILUS

The Nautilus self-winding flyback chronograph comes in a new white gold version with an opaline blue-gray dial. This refined shade is echoed on the blue-gray denim-patterned calfskin strap with white gold Nautilus fold-over clasp. The case and bezel are distinguished by contrasting polished and satin finishes.

Chronograph indications are grouped in an original and legible large 6 o'clock monocounter with three concentric scales. The central chronograph seconds hand can also be used as a running seconds display.

The rounded octagonal bezel is enhanced by a row of baguette-cut sapphires set in a subtle gradient running from light to dark blue. The chromatic harmony is echoed by the integrated strap in dark blue composite material.

This watch is equipped with self-winding 26-330 S caliber, visible through a sapphire crystal case-back.

4997/200R - CALATRAVA

Patek Philippe expands its range of elegant ladies' watches with a new version of the self-winding Calatrava Reference 4997 in rose gold decked out in purple – an original and refined color that perfectly matches the warm nuances of the precious metal and the diamond-set bezel.

The dial base embossed with a concentric waves pattern is coated with more than fifty successive layers of translucent lacquer creating a fascinating depth effect. The shade of the dial is echoed by the purple calfskin strap with satinated finish and rose gold prong buckle.

The case houses the ultra-thin self-winding Caliber 240.

4910/1201R - TWENTY~4

The dial plate is first embossed with a concentric wave pattern, before being coated with dozens of successive layers of translucent purple lacquer and then transparent colorless lacquer which, once polished, create subtle plays on light and a beautiful depth effect.

The original shape of the rectangular two-tier case is highlighted by two rows of 17 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.63 ct) set on either side of the dial.

The curved, entirely polished rose gold bracelet is fitted with a rose gold fold-over clasp ensuring both comfort and security.
